About Lakeview
Lakeview, as the City Planning Commission draws it, lies between Robert E. Lee Boulevard and I-610, from Pontchartrain Boulevard to Orleans Avenue. In wider use the name covers everything from City Park Avenue to the lake, between the Orleans Avenue and 17th Street canals.
Pontchartrain, West End and Canal Boulevards run north to south through it, and its easy access to Lake Pontchartrain gives it a large sailing and boating community with two yacht clubs.
